Interpreted readings from the “Operette Morali” and some lyrics by Giacomo Leopardi in a magical and surreal background.
The small environments inside the little “Casina”, enriched with architectural elements that seem to have been put together by a whimsical child, lead visitors to the magical and surreal dimension of a fable. The serene and almost childlike atmosphere creates a poetical and magical show. Such a match between Poetry and Magic had never been created before. The chosen passages were extracted from some “Operette Morali” by Giacomo Leopardi, that the poet had composed as “satyrical prose” and some lyrics.
Performed by Sergio Ammirata, Patrizia Parisi, Helene Olivi Borghese, accompanied by a violin player and an escapologist who presents the show.
