An exhibition of Paola Crema’s sculptural-jewellery held at the Casina delle Civette (House of the Owls) and the dépendance of Villa Torlonia.
The exhibition Frammenti di Atlantide. Piccole sculture e gioielli (Fragments of Atlantis - small sculptures and jewellery) presents part of the collection of jewelled-sculpture and sculptural-jewellery produced by the artist over the last few years using the technique of electro-forming, or electrolytically etched: one-off pieces in silver, a favourite material of the artist, inset with natural elements such as rock crystals and corals, pearls and jade, mother-of-pearl and shells: all materials provided by Mother Nature, which Paola Crema transforms into a new, virtuous and ‘virtual’ jewellery.
The exhibition is promoted by the Assessorato alle Politiche Culturali e della Comunicazione del Comune di Roma Sovraintendenza ai Beni Culturali (Department of Cultural Policy and Communication of the City of Rome - Superintendence of Cultural Heritage)
Under the patronage of the Villa Départementale Marguerite Yourcenar in Mont Noir.
