The exhibition aims to illustrate the work of Vincenzo Fasolo (1885-1969).
The exhibition aims to illustrate the work of Vincenzo Fasolo (1885-1969), the engineer, architect and architectural historian, born in Split but active in Rome, where, between the wars, he worked for public and private clients, and founded, with Arnaldo Foschini and Marcello Piacentini, the School of Architecture. Among his accomplishments, there are the completion of Casina delle Civette (1916-20), Mamiani High School (1924) and Ponte Duca d'Aosta (1939-1942). Sponsored by the Società Dalmata di Storia Patria (Dalmatian Society of Homeland History), the exhibition displays maps, drawings and Fasolo’s projects kept by his nephew Vincenzo Fasolo.
